The Suffolk Independent Living Organization (SILO) has been working with the disability community in Suffolk County for 25 years. SILO works with individuals, businesses, and agencies to promote equal access for people with all disabilities.

Services include advocacy/legal services, architectural barrier services, assistive devices and equipment, communication services, housing or shelter, information and referral, independent living skills, mobility, peer counseling, recreational services, vocational and pre-vocational, benefits advisement, and voter registration.
