Are you concerned about cutting yourself with a knife during chopping tasks? If so, here are a few alternatives:

  • In a pinch? Quickly grate vegetables like onions, zucchini, or carrots with a cheese grater.
  • Use a manual food chopper to cut food quickly and easily within the confines of a small container.
  • Invest in an electric mini-chopper or food processor, which allows you to chop veggies at the press of a button.
  • Avoid chopping completely by purchasing pre-chopped vegetables in the freezer section. Most grocery stores also carry fresh chopped fruits and vegetables.
