Wearing a Visor

two women wearing handmade visors

Wearing a visor is a great way to protect your eyes from glare. You can buy a visor, or make one yourself. Using a handy visor template, you can cut your own visor from craft foam sheets, which are readily available at craft, fabric, or dollar stores. Simply trace the boomerang-shaped visor onto the craft foam, cut it out, and hole punch each end. The visor attaches to the arms of your eyeglasses or sunglasses to reduce uncomfortable glare. The foam is available in many colors so you may wish to color coordinate with your clothing for an easy and inexpensive accessory to any outfit.
