Blind Sailing International is the governing body for competitive international sailing for persons who are blind or visually impaired. They provide information on regattas and other sailing events, the types of boats used, and the rules for sailing with visual impairment.

BSI also publishes Facing the Wind -- a manual for teaching blind and visually impaired persons to sail.
