People who are blind or have low vision can pursue any job they wish. With the introduction of new technologies, many more opportunities exist today than in the past.  Today, people with disabilities can be found in a wide range of work settings, including education, administration, sales, law, information technology, music, social services, and private enterprise. 

Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors, adaptive technology specialists, and other work-related advisors are available to discuss career goals and provide the means to accomplish them.  Rehabilitation centers provide vocational skill training, and a range of adaptive technology solutions are now being offered in many regular community education programs.
