Brief Description

The CAIU employs 7 Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI), three of whom are also dually certified as Orientation and Mobility Specialists. The staff serves 200-230 students each year with an annual average of 70 additional students assessed for service.

Hours of operation: Mon.-Fri. 7:30 AM-4:15 PM.
Clients served on average per year: 150

Staff description: Staff comprised of certified teachers of the visually impaired and certified orientation & mobility specialists who provide services to identified students ages 3 - 21.
Geographic area served: Cumberland, Dauphin, Perry, northern York Counties.
