Brief Description

Audio Information Network (AINC) is a non-profit (501)(c)(3) corporation that provides audio access to Colorado Newspapers and other print format materials, via digital audio signal, telephone menu system, Internet streaming audio, and podcast.

Hours of operation: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Clients served on average per year: an estimated 1,300-1,500 out of 180,000 blind and visually impaired in Colorado
Number of staff: 3 full time, 3 part time
Staff description: Executive Director, Chief Control Room Engineer, Director of Marketing, Director of Development, Director of Volunteer & Listener Services, Weekday Control Room Technician
Geographic area served: We are a state wide organization that serves the entire state of Colorado. Our broadcast reach parts of Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska & New Mexico that touch Colorado.
Publications: AINC program schedules are provided in Braille, large print (also available in Spanish), CD and audio cassette formats. Program schedules are also available on our web site: www.aincolorado.org.

      AINC provides audio access to information that enables seniors to stay connected to the communities in which they live, preventing isolation.
