Can a diabetic learn Braille?

Learning braille as a diabetic person can be challenging, but braille is not to be ruled out unless you have severe neuropathy in your fingers or lack of sensitivity of touch.? Braille is available in two sizes.?If you cannot feel the dot patterns in regular-sized braille, maybe you can feel Jumbo dots, which are about double the size. However, Jumbo dot is only used with Alphabetic Braille and labeling for personal records. Books are NOT printed in Jumbo Braille.? There is also a system called 'Sharp Dots' which might prove helpful.?Sharp dots have pointed tops and are often done on plastic pages, but again are used primarily for labeling and personal record keeping only. Learn more about Jumbo Dots from the National Large Cell Braille Foundation.
