The American Blind Bowling Association (ABBA)

The American Blind Bowling Association(ABBA) is the official North American sanctioning organization for blind ten pin bowlers. It was founded in 1951 by a few dedicated blind bowlers in New York and Philadelphia who realized the value of a national oranization in promoting the sport to blind people countrywide. Today the ABBA has over 2000 members in more than 125 leagues across the United States and Canada. It sponsors blind bowling leagures for adults and an annual tournament.
